Posted by: Sally Hill    Tags:  barefoot bowling, clothes swap, clothing swap, Sydney, waverley    Posted date:  February 15, 2012  |  No comment

When: 6:30 – 8:30pm Thursday 16th Febswap1

Where: Waverley Bowling Club (very close to Bondi Junction) 163 Birrell St, Waverley, Sydney NSW 2024

(If it’s raining, bring an umbrella as the event will still go ahead)

How much? Tickets are $25 – book here

Why?
Enjoy the best of twilight in Sydney, barefoot bowling and swapping fashionable threads

This event looks amazing! I can’t think of a better way to enjoy a clothes swap than with barefoot bowling on a Sydney summer’s evening.

And in case you have been living somewhere other than planet earth – clothes swapping is a trend that is sweeping the world which lets you save oodles of money and says no to fast and disposable fashion and all of the associated nastiness.swap2

Simply turn up to Waverley Bowling club for a spot of clothes swapping and barefoot bowling on Thursday the 16th of February.

Bring up to six items you no longer wear but think others may value to swap with other like minded fashionable women and friends.

While you wait for the swapping to start we invite you to enjoy a game or two of barefoot bowling. Have no fear instructors will be on hand to assist.

If you can’t make it, or if you really enjoy yourself, keep a look out for our next swap on World Water Day, March 22nd with Lane Cove Council.

Its going to be a lot of fun – we’ll see you there!

Clothing exchange February 16

This event is hosted by The Clothing Exchange who, with a website opener that reads ‘Imagine a giant clothing store, where everything is free’, is finding mass appeal with their clothes swaps among Australian women.
