Humane Society International is a not for profit organisation working on wildlife and habitat protection.  We are seeking a highly motivated, well organised, energetic and meticulous person, with good people skills, experience in all office procedures and database work to join the small team in our busy Avalon office on Sydney’s Northern Beaches.

This is a growing organisation offering a unique opportunity to a motivated person who is willing to support a small team, and cover a wide variety of tasks.

Essential requirements:

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Knowledge of ThankQ or similar donor database

Experience in general office procedures

Strong and clear written and verbal communication skills

Minimum typing 65 wpm

Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise day to day activities.

A team spirit and sense of humour

Responsibilities include

Working with our ThankQ database and having an intricate knowledge of the system

Dealing with all aspects of the database

Member liaison

Assisting with events

Undertaking a wide range of general admin functions

Previous experience in a fundraising/non profit environment would be advantageous and an interest in or empathy with the conservation and protection of wildlife and the environment would be desirable.
